On Saturday, March 20, 2010 KBR sponsored Greens Bayou Corridor Coalition's first volunteer event.  The event attracted approximately 75 volunteers that assisted in trash clean up and planting trees along the upper part of Greens Bayou.  Harris County Flood Control District provided the trees, Trees for Houston provided materials and instruction, CenterPoint Energy provided equipment, Bayou Preservation Association provided expertise and volunteers came from Willowbrook Rotary Club, Klein Collins High School Interact Club, KBR employees, Leadership North Houston alumni, Boy Scouts, and the community at-large. Thanks to everyone who made the event a huge success!
