Brock Park was identified in 2013 as a launch site for the Greens Bayou Paddle Trail Strategic Plan.  The Annual Greens Bayou Regatta has utilized the launch site since its inaugural race in 2016.  In 2019 the Houston Parks Board,  through the Bayou Greenways 2020 Bond Initiative for the City of Houston, constructed a fully functioning and ADA accessible launch at the site. Brock Park has recently been reimagined as an Adventure Park, featuring amenities such as a ropes course, Ninja Warrior course, and nature based-programming.
