Our unwavering commitment is to enhance awareness and understanding of Greens Bayou and its profound impact, actively engaging stakeholders in our mission. Our educational programs serve to expand our network of volunteers and stakeholders, equipping the champions of Greens Bayou Coalition with effective communication strategies for advocating on our behalf.
Kayaking for Kids
Greens Bayou hopes to inspire a new wave of environmental stewards through outdoor recreation and education on Greens Bayou. Groups of inner city youth are led on kayaking trips along Greens Bayou, introduced to ecological concepts and the importance of stewarding natural resources – using the immediate waterway as an example.
