Thanks for a Great Regatta!
We had a perfect weather, a big fleet and a great send-off by Council Member Robert Gallegos! Katz Coffee got us hyped with great coffee. TEXSAR was in the water and on the banks to keep the fleet safe. The after-party rocked with music provided by Rico Torres of AR's Entertainment Hub and Bayou City Adventures. Coca Cola SWB rehydrated us with fabulous beverages and Karbach provided beer. The Barry Ross family cooked up the best lunch EVER. (Barry's company Ross Metal Works also created the Corporate Cup!) The young men from North Shore Anchor Club helped get boats out of the water and over to the side. HPD stood guard on the sidelines, and METRO was available to return us to the start as needed. Beth White from Houston Parks Board and Paul Young representing Council Member Ed Pollard inspired us to get out and enjoy Greens Bayou.
We had some really FAST paddlers, some bayou cleaning paddlers, and some paddlers just out for fun.
And we danced!
Thank you, Greens Bayou Regatta Sponsors!
We couldn't have done it without you!
